In this blog post we are going to be comparing the standard 2021 Genesis GV80 with the standard 2021 BMW X5, as both of these vehicles are similar sized, luxury SUV's.
The engine on the standard BMW X5 is a 3.0-liter BMW Twin Power Turbo inline 6-cylinder with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It gets about 335-hp. There is not only one, but two SUV's coming to the Genesis lineup!
The 2022 Genesis GV70 is coming soon. For the engines we will see a Turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder and a Twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. All-wheel drive will likely be optional, but all of the trims will come standard with 8-speed automatic transmission.
If this vehicle comes standard with many luxurious features like the G70, it will be a key player in the SUV market.
